From the podcast:
April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. One underrepresented issue that falls under this umbrella is stalking.
An estimated 13.5 million people are stalked every year in the United States; and nearly 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men have been the victim of stalking at some point in their lives.
In this episode, Dr. Green talks with Dr. Mary Beth, an expert who has served as a Special Agent in the Secret Service, taught university courses in psychology, crime & violence, and worked as a counselor in the Stalking Unit of Victims Services in Queens, NY where she created the Stalking Risk Assessment Prototype. Listen in as they discuss the warning signs and risks for stalking, as well as advice for women looking to forge a career path in a man’s world.
