On September 19th, Dr. Mary Beth Wilkas Janke had the honor of participating in the 5th Annual “Women In Business Conference: Building Bridges – Bringing Together Women in Business” at the Scottish Rite Center in Santa Fe, NM. Hosted by SCORE, the event brought together women entrepreneurs and small business owners from across the state to inspire, connect, and empower each other.
The conference kicked off with dynamic keynotes from three remarkable speakers. Victoria Price, celebrated author and coach, shared her wisdom on creating fulfilling careers. Deborah Taffa, an award-winning writer, explored cross-cultural communication, while Dr. LaNysha Adams, a TEDx speaker, offered educational insights from her extensive career journey.
Dr. Mary Beth wrapped up the day with a powerful workshop on Resilience, where she shared her strategies for building mental toughness and confidently navigating the inevitable challenges of entrepreneurship. Attendees left the session feeling energized and equipped with practical tools to grow their personal and professional resilience.
The event also provided invaluable networking opportunities, allowing women from various industries to connect, share experiences, and build bridges within the business community.
