In this presentation for the Santa Fe Council on International Relations, I discuss my journey from joining the Secret Service to becoming a private protector of the rich and famous.

From the event notes:
Dr. Mary Beth Wilkas Janke—a former US Secret Service Agent who is now a forensic and clinical psychologist—has traveled an extraordinary path as one of a small minority of women (9%) in the Secret Service in the early 1990s, and was the only female to ever officially protect a foreign president outside of the United States. She has gathered valuable insights into the level-headedness, self-confidence, and mental and physical toughness required to succeed in life.
